Evan Turner with one of his many national Player of the Year awards

Kelvin Ransey in action

This is my personal all-time OSU hoops roster.  There are some guys who played multiple positions, but I have haphazardly thrown them in somewhere(Hosket for instance played C and F, Hopson played F and G, etc.).  Anyway, I am comfortable with the starting 5.  Lucas is a no-brainer, and while Havlicek was not as good at OSU as he was in the NBA, he was still an All-American.  Jimmy Jackson was national player of the year and was the reason why OSU was seeded #1 in the tourney back-to-back years.  Kelvin Ransey over Dennis Hopson, the all-time scoring leader, is a tough choice, but Ransey's average was 17.3 v. 16.8 for Hopson, and Ransey gave up a lot of shots as a senior to play point and accomodate Kellogg in the lineup.  Nothing against Hopson at all, it's just the evidence as I interpret it points to Ransey. Evan Turner was the best player I've ever seen at OSU, including Jackson, with incredible versatility.
The starter is listed in bold, followed by the honorable mentions in rough chronological order:
